Planning Ahead
Planning ahead for our future water and power needs. Putting solar , wind and water collectors on as many structures as possible will insure that droughts won't be as harsh. It will also satiate our growing power needs.Start with all government buildings , commercial and industrial factories and shopping centers. Eventually our supply will surpass demand.

U.N. Funded Ocean Garbage Collectors
We all hear about the massive garbage patch that is in the Pacific Ocean . Mostly because of run off and irresponsible individuals. Sometimes its because of company's or natural disasters . Most recently the earthquake in Japan. The U.N. should fix this problem that is polluting our oceans . It kills Birds , Fish and than in turn poisons us all . Maintaining our environment should be a priority for the world as a whole. Doing so will improve many areas most importantly safe food. Ships specifically designed to skim the ocean for floating trash could easily solve this.

Fix the U.S. debt in 1 day
In one day the 1% could fix our debt. If the richest in the world who pay less taxes than the poor and get refund checks would just donate to the I.R.S. our country's debt could be instantly paid. Unfortunately the majority of the 1% would rather horde wealth instead of paying their fair share. For the record to anyone reading this I am not a member of the Occupy movement. Nor am I affiliated with it.

Vacant lots and undeveloped Government Land
Vacant lots and undeveloped lands are everywhere . Especially here in America. With poverty and homeless families losing homes . People need to feed their families and using lands even on a temporary basis could feed all our nations poor. Myself and every Gardener/Farmer I know would gladly give free herb , fruit , and veggie seeds. Or sell them to raise money for shelters that want to grow an abundance of food.
No Garbage
Some ideas help too much so they are bought by those that would lose money it was ever used on a massive scale. Its happens more often than not with green technology . A few years ago I watched a TV program about a guy who invented a waste disposal unit that would incinerate garbage and reduce it to its base elements and store it for other uses. the only by product was a small chunk of what resembled onyx or black glass. I don't know whatever happened to his invention or him . Just the idea could have drastically helped our world.
Water for all of Africa
I always hear that fresh water is a major problem for Africa. Technology such as De-Salanization plants at varying points around the whole of Africa could possibly bring fresh water to the entire continent. Allthough their are many groups and people bringing wells to various areas. Large projects are needed to once and for all end thirst and famine in Africa.
Only cut dying or fallen trees
Bamboo , Hemp , and tree farms could sustain nearly all of our needs without the senseless destruction of forests. Cutting old growth trees and rain forests will effect our entire planet further harming our ecosystem. Carbonscrubbers are a great idea and will greatly assist in the future but are no substitute for a tree.
